Our carbon fiber airbox lid is a great addition when you install hood louvers on your hood. Mainly, it will protect your air filter from water during rain or washing your car as well as allow the car to draw ambient air in from the factory front opening and not the hot engine bay air. It also adds a nice clean look and removes a little weight over the factory plastic. We also made this part with no flange around the parameter to allow the louvers to work a little better as well. It installs on a factory GT350 lower airbox with the factory hardware. Note: this part is clear coated so it will retain its glossy carbon look over time. Second note: This lid can work on a Mach 1 lower air box part #FR3Z-9600-J, but the forward tab will need the hole slightly slotted. Please see pictures for reference.
