We drew on our extensive wind tunnel and CFD testing of our GT350 splitter and rolled it right into this GT500 splitter kit. This is not a "just for show splitter". The splitters angle can be adjusted with the splitter rods, allowing a range of front downforce and splitter heights. These splitters are made in house with carbon fiber and a structural foam core making them extremely light but also very strong. This also allows us to radius the leading edge, and bevel the trailing edge lending to a smoother transition to the factory undertray tunnels. This creates much less separation and turbulence under the splitter, further increasing its performance (video below). You can add 5 of our splitter scuff plates to protect the underside of the splitter which are easily swapped out if they wear down. This splitter must be balanced out with a wing. Our Fulcrum 12 or Fulcrum 14 will be good matches depending on the front aero setup or if you are competing in a class with rules. The splitter comes with all brackets, splitter rods, and all hardware to install in a few hours and no special tools are required. The only cutting will be to clearance the grill for the splitter rods to pass through and small slits in the trans and oil cooler plastic shroud. Notes: We highly recommend stiffer springs when upgrading your aero. Excessive scraping may result with softer springs. We highly recomend our front MagRide coilover conversion kits and rear adjustable spring perches with this splitter. Lastly, please note that since we make everything in house, we can customize the size/shape of this splitter if you are working within any class rules, or just want something larger or smaller.
